The college adheres to the syllabus prescribed by the University. In all the streams, there are some components through which Professional Ethics and Human Values are inculcated amongst students.
Professional Ethics and Human Values are covered in the following credit courses for UG and PG:
1) Democracy, Elections and Governance
2) Introduction to Constitution
3) Human Rights
4) Introduction to Cyber Security
5) Environmental Studies
6) Life Values
Apart from these courses, language subjects English, Marathi and Hindi have cross-cutting issues such as human values and professional ethics in literature and language courses. For example, In Compulsory English subject, Email writing, Meeting and Greeting of People consists of Professional Ethics. Furthermore, the unit like ‘In Sahyadri Hills, A lesson to Humanity’ by Sudha Murthy prescribed to FYBA Class inCompulsory English subject makes students to learn Human Values and Professional Ethics. Professional Ethics such as Corporate Social Responsibility and Entrepreneurship are incorporated in the commerce program (B.Com). Students also learn Professional Ethics through Business Entrepreneurship and Marketing subject in the commerce program (B.Com). To be more specific, Human values are imbibed in T.Y.B.A. Syllabus of Marathi subject through biographical sketches of great personalities who have contributed to the Nation and society. Furthermore, Human Values and Professional Skills are integrated into the curriculum of S.Y.B.B.A. through the subject ‘Global Competencies and Personality Development.’ The course ‘Soft Skill’ in T.Y.B.B.A (C.A.) program nurtures Professional Skills among students.
